There are various astro cycles related to war in western and Vedic traditions, perhaps H1 can shed more light on? Uranus, Saturn, Mars, Mercury? Da moon gone squared ur anus? Haha, just kidding. :-) As for Armstrong, at least publicly, he claims his main economic confidence model is based on Pi. Multiples of and ratios thereof. When he references specific countries I'm guessing he applies the same model but might pick key dates specific and important to their history. Here is the generic economic confidence model if you haven't seen it. It extends before and after this chart at the same intervals. fwiw.
