Rio, the link sounds a little like GTW of last year 3rd quarter.

I recently read in Money a buy recommendation for CPQ and a hold on DELL for its high price. They said CPQ restructured 1997 to compete with DELL and Gateway in direct selling. Any comments on how CPQ is doing in that arena? Are DELL and GTW the only real players? I get the feeling that GTW and DELL are going to be the Pepsi and Coke of direct PC selling. Is this a fair analogy?

I wonder how much the acquisition of DEC will help/hinder CPQ's short-term progress. Any comments?
