who has to disable the auto-shutoff feature in rental cars I'll let it slide with a rental but I hate it with my new car. Because of the inconsistent acceleration it can be dangerous. I want the car to accelerate when I floor it not turn itself on... Also, I've had issues with starters on former cars and expect this feature will be problematic for reliability. I occasionally forget to turn it off and have had close calls because of it. I wish there was a way to turn it off permanently. If anyone knows how please let me know. It's a CRV.
