PB....Re:

"With SOOOOOOO many people wanting the OLD style screens back, I can't believe it hasn't been done already."

Amazing isn't it??!! Almost totally unanimous with customers on this thread. And I get a feeling that it won't happen. Makes me wonder why. But then I did speculate on the reasoning a few days back....

Mutual Fund Trading: And on and on and on....

Me once again. The Honorable Tim Richter of Datek fame called me to explain the delays and mysterious MF order cancellation. He's a Very-Nice-Guy-With-A-Job-I-Wouldn't-Wish-On-My-Worst-Enemy, but he seems to be making the best of it. He has a very good attitude about things, considering how much abuse he must get. I wonder if asbestos undies itch.

Turns out the ultra-high-risk Fidelity Select fund I had chosen to fritter away my funds was not really available for purchase due to gruesomely boring legal reasons. Apologies were flung about and renumeration gleefully accepted. I'm actually pretty content about that. Poop happens.

I'm still waiting on my other foolish fund selection (a high risk North American bond fund that only idiots and simpletons would invest in). It's still pending as of today, but I was promised the NAV from when the order was first placed. That's okay with me. Instant profits! Wish I could pick the date on all my trades like that. "I'd like to buy 1,000 MSFT from 3/1/91."

I'll report on the outcome of the bond fund purchase when there's something to report.
