Miraje, When most people rent a car, they want to get in and drive it without spending time trying to figure out unfamiliar functions, especially like how and where to recharge an EV. It's not hard to figure out how to operate an EV. But the recharging IS a problem. Most people just want to drop off the EV on the way to the airport. If they have to recharge it before the return, it could take upwards of 30 minutes to an hour, depending on availability of chargers. Alternatively they could just return it without charging, but then the rental car company will charge them a ridiculous fee. Tenchusatsu
