India and China want Russian energy. End of story. They won't be extorted like the EU was/is.

I somewhat agree with that, if could be penny wise and pound foolish in the longer term. Nevertheless, the fact remains that the USSA remains by far the largest and richest consumer economy in the world. Unsure there is a close second unless you add the next 3-4 consumer economies combined and that includes the collective known as the EU. The problem with Trump's approach and shifting timelines, imo, is it's too much of a sledgehammer approach. It should be more nuanced per country in terms of imports/exports and need, especially factoring in strategic and national security interests. I'm sure smart people in his cabinet have all of these graphs prepared but who knows how much he looks at them, because he's often shooting from the hip, haha. Mexico and Canada are big deals, then China. The president of Mexico clearly has Cartel ties, and Carney is a globalist weenie. So articulate and willing to take the path to hell with zero carbon ideas, among other things. I've said this before but if Cartel land, Canuckistan (increasing Cartel land, ssshhh), and the USSA could properly settle their differences then it could be one of if not the most powerful economic trading blocks in the world! Clearly the Russia/Ukraine war is getting into stalemate and a war of attrition. Hard to see how Ukraine can win that but I respect their fight. Western Europe seems to be the biggest block to a peace deal that should have happened a few years ago. What now, more attrition, lives lost, and some type of armistice?
