Elliot, now gon't go getting technical on me. Bernard is much better
at these types of questions.

WinStar is testing out point to multipoint this quarter in DC.
Expect to have it nationwide in 99. Also current technology does
allow for reuse of spectrum but I don't know much about it.

Technology speaking, I doubt there is much difference between 28 GHz
and 38 GHz. Probably biggest difference in WinStars wireless fiber
link is high speed data rates in both directions, ie no return by
POTS.

It's not too hard to make a great case for you to buy WinStar. CEO
says company will be worth $11B in one year. Analyst say $11B in two
years. Either way it's a long ways from todays just over $1B. Come
on over to the WinStar thread if you need convincing.

Summary of auction after todays rounds:
After
Total Discount
Block A Licenses $449,955,215 $338,026,790
Block B Licenses $72,052,747 $51,631,171
Total Auction $522,007,962 $389,657,961

No bids so far on 205 A-Block and 18 B-Block licenses.

PS These are my calculated values. I believe them to be accurate,
but wouldn't guarantee anything.
