If that is true (and in nuanced ways, I think probably is), we should look at what happened to our education system (K-12 taken over by unions, investments in university educations for those who could never have cut the mustard, but we anointed them with loads of unearned mustard) continue to take stringent action to fix this problem.

If they caught up, we can catch up again.

Maybe instead of the Dept of Education we should fund an engineering skunkworks that is capable of producing things like first-rate solar panels. We're on the right track at this moment.

It is my belief that the US still has a great future ahead and is the best country in the world in which to do business. We just have a lot of problems that have to be untangled in DC.

They will soon be virtually 100% renewable.
Interesting. I wonder what they'll do with all those coal-fired and nuclear power stations that they are constructing at such a rate.
