Wharfie, I skimmed through Matt Taibbi's Wikipedia, and it seems this guy wrote some pretty good quotes.

This, for example, explains Trump perfectly and why we should oppose him with every ounce of our strength:
In response to the March 30, 2023, indictment of Donald Trump, Taibbi said, "If presidents think they will be chased into jail under thin pretexts as ex-presidents, they'll try even harder to never leave office. This is how autocracies are born."
This is why Trump is so obsessed with revenge.

This is why Trump is extremely paranoid about his name appearing in the Epstein Files.

All the indictments of Trump, all of his court cases, all of his legal troubles, have completely broken his psyche.

Even if he could politically survive his name appearing in the Epstein Files, that paranoid man doesn't want to leave anything to chance, because in his words, "The media would never stop coming after him."

In other words, he has become just as paranoid as PooTin.

And that's making him take actions that blatantly destroy everything that the United States represents.

P.S. - Why Matt Taibbi wants to play along with Trump's obvious distractions is beyond me. I guess he wants to be proven right about "Russiagate" much more than he wants to stop Trump from actually turning into the autocrat that he warned us about. Or maybe, like other right-wingers who used to be anti-Trump but have now completely succumbed to the Algore Rhythms, he has jumped onto the MAGA bandwagon and believes he will be richly rewarded for his loyalty.
