With their guidance, I would have expected Lisa to sound a little more up beat. She sounded a little muted.

Nonsense:

The proof is in the pudding: data center sales were down 12% Q/Q while Client & Gaming was up 23% Q/Q, in spite of the former ramping MI350.

As I point out the story in the media is entirely about the MI308/China and that is what all the nonsense headlines are now about. This was known MONTHS ago, and is in the process of being reversed. Its idiotic to be obsessing about that. Per guide, data center should have been down 800M, but was only down 500M (3.2 vs 3.7) and MI355 starting shipping in June so little revenue in the qtr. We have known for quite some time that AI GPU was stalled out prior to the MI355.

So the story that the Media aught to be talking about is that AMD with the MI355 is ramping about $1B/qtr now in Q3. That is HUGE news. In fact, going out on a limb a bit, I'll bet that MI355 is ramping > 1B this qtr, because I'll bet that the prior models are dropping rapidly as MI355 ramps. In fact, MI355 is quite possibly going to be the fastest ramp of a single product in AMD's history. Anyone here want to take the opposite side of that? If so, what other product was faster?
