You have criticized me any times for not "understanding" Republican types. And you did it again in this post saying "the world is not black and white".

Sometimes the world is black and white e.g. Nazi Germany, Stalin and Putins Russia and Trump and the Republican party today.

And I didn't accuse you of not supporting Ukraine. How did you get that?

You said the Nordic countries were not being altruistic toward Ukraine and I said they were.

The fact you mixed that up tells the story.

The point of contention between us, IMO, has been what you post here: "The world is not black and white."

I have seen that contention all my life where people say:" there is not difference between the Democratic and Republican party".

When in fact the difference has been stark for the last 100 years going all the way back to Hoover, Harding and Coolidge."

It is just that you apparently don't see it.

The Republican party has been the party of the rich, and the Democratic party has been the party of the worker and the party that has put forth almost all of the social programs for the workers, poor, and general public, and fighting the Republicans every step of the way.

E.g. The New Deal, Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, Unions, The Great Society and tried to get universal Health care and affordable education.

And the Republicans have fought them every step of the way from FDR, to the present day.

And the election of Trump was a forgone conclusion as the party kept pushing the moderates and liberals out of the party to the point a decent person cannot even win a Republican primary today. Name one progressive Republican!

I am in the position of Lewis Pasteur trying to convince you of something you cannot see-apparently!
