I am curious.

Do the MAGA folks know Trump is lying about foreign countries paying the tariffs which are bringing in billions of dollars?

Trump keeps saying foreign companies are paying the tariffs which is a bald faced lie.

We, the consumer of foreign goods are paying 100% of them.

Foreign companies don't pay a dime.

And he has his entire staff defending that lie.

Do the MAGA folks understand this?

Do they understand Trump's tariffs are nothing but a huge regressive sales tax on the consumer?

While there is a difference between being smart and being educated, education is how we get smart!

Humans are not born smart, and we were not very smart for thousands of years even though we had the same brain as today, until we got public education, and then we got real smart, real quick.

So smart we went from concrete thinkers to abstract thinkers, and that is where we got modern civilization and things like civil rights which required smarter thinking!

James Flynn says our IQ's as measured by the Stanford Binet increased by 60 points over the last 100 plus years.

My grand parents who weren't very well educated had about a 70 IQ as measured by todays standards, while the kids today have about 130 IQ!

Here is James Flynn explaining it.

You shouldn't confuse "smart" and "educated". They aren't the same.
