At least you have healthcare if you need it.

People in Canada routinely go to the US+A for medical treatment, usually starting at the diagnostic level where Canada fails badly. We can treat most things as good as the US+A, finding out what needs to be treated is a different process.

The idea of Universal Health Care is a bit of a myth, it does not translate across the entire country. For instance if you are from Quebec you might not receive a life saving surgery in Saskatchewan because the two provinces do not have a pay agreement between them.

You pay more in the US+A but at least you have a health care system.
