This Sydney Sweeney thing is yet another example of manufactured outrage by MAGA. I don't know of anyone who gives a shit about her ad. Maybe some "woke" TikTokers care, but I haven't seen anyone in mainstream media express any outrage over this. This isn't like before, where the NYTimes was sponsoring the ultra-woke 1619 Project, or mainstream media was trying to defend Critical Race Theory. And the ad itself was from a relatively obscure brand of blue jeans named American Eagle. This doesn't have as much prominence as, say, the Bud Light controversy with Dylan Mulvaney. Yet you MAGA cultists latch onto a few people who expressed outrage over the jeans ad, amplify it to ridiculous proportions, then claim that anyone who is against you guys must be no different.
