agree.

on the way to visit you the last time, I made a stop in Istanbuhl.. and somehow spent the whole ten days there hanging out with a gang of rug sellers in a shop down the street from my hotel. every few years one of them comes to USA after having sent a huge batch of rugs ahead, they rent a van, and drive around the country trying to sell the rugs LOL. they have a list of names and phone numbers they've collected over the years they got usa tourists to their shop to tell them. so every few years I get a phone call from whoever is doing this gig. in the beginning I knew who it was calliing me, and then later people I didn't know pretended that I knew them. very hilarious. but there was one guy Ali whom I am no longer in touch at all, called, and said I'm here and selling rugs to raise some money cuz I'm planning to get married. Turkey under their long time Raj Erdygon was just becoming effective at destroying the Turkish economy.. mostly through central bank interventions (aka he took over the central bank essentially). So I said, take all those USD's you are going to bring back home, exchange for a boatload of Lira and then buy all the gold you can. Never found out if he did it. but if he did, he could marry five wives instead of one plus a few chicks on the side. hope he listened.
