You are criticizing 100 jobs when you clearly don't understand the bigger picture.

There you go.

Again.

The bigger picture is that trying to rework the global economy in short term is going to result in massive dislocations and job losses. You are capering over a handful of jobs won at the cost of thousands lost due to the tariffs. You want to contend, with zero proof, that the larger picture is those dislocations will result in better results than we have now.

How? You want to argue that things used to be different, but can't quite seem to articulate what difference that makes. Lots of things were different. Food accounted for a much larger percentage of the average family's income than it does now. So did clothing. Now housing and automobiles were cheaper, but the ones we have now are also unimaginably luxurious by those standards, too.

The floor on poverty was a lower, too. Somehow, I think your concept of "costs" is a lot more abstract than the reality.

So, want to detail the "bigger picture" I am missing, but you see?
