Ah. So you don't see a difference between a tariff and an income tax. But you also claim to be a libertarian. Which explains your authoritarian positions on most issues. Confusion seems to be your world.

That is pure psychobable.

The question you are NOT answering was:" is Trump lying when he says foreign countries pay the tariffs."

Trump keeps telling us foreign countries will pay the taxes and we will get rich.

That is a bald faced lie, they don't pay a dime!!

We the consumer pays all of it, and it is a very regressive sales tax and a high tax increase. Period.

Let me explain it to you.

If Wallmart buys $1,000 of stuff from China, and the tariff is 50%, THEY pay the federal government $500! And then Walmart passes it on to the customer by raiing prices.

So foreign countries pay NOTHING.

Trump is lying.

What does corporate taxes have to do with his lie about who pays tariffs?You and others on the Left have for years claimed that increased corporate income taxes are not paid by consumers. Yet, here you are claiming that increase tariffs ARE paid by consumers. I'm saying, "WTF is the difference? They're both costs of doing business". And you have no explanation of why one is good and the other is bad.
