Can you detail those "other satellites" you keep talking about? Any idea if they actually exist, or are you just making shit up?
There are numerous satellites that would do fine until CO2M (2026) or GeoCarb (2027-28) are on orbit.

Let's not act like this is some big crisis. It is a SINGLE datapoint that is available from many sources, and apparently, seldom referenced.

I mean, I don't give a shit one way or the other. But the way government works is when someone makes a decision you don't like you write congress or make noise some other way.

If you are unnerved by the loss of a couple satellites, then take action as you deem appropriate.
