What is amazing is that Trumps tariffs on Canadian copper, nickle, steel, aluminum, rare earths, etc are really hurting US manufacturing as it greatly increases their costs.

And now Canada is stopping selling much of that to the US altogether, and selling those things to Asia and Europe who are gobbling them up, making Canada a new super power.

Heather Cox Richardson is right on about the economy being bad for the Republicans.

As an aside, I think Trump's tariffs in a way are a god send, in that it is the one thing the MAGA folks can understand via rising prices, and could be the undoing of the Republican party.
