You paint a picture of BAT, a little boy sneaking cookies wondering if his mother saw him. If BAT is on the level, why would they worry about the SEC? Why shouldn't it be business as usual. Someone mentioned Wason was traveling to Hungary. That's a good sign. He was there before the 2/10/98 test. Anybody pick up any tidbits who he will be visiting? Hope you guys got a chance to look over some of those articles in the Salt Lake Tribune about Ole Joe. He is a character. Joe left Utah about the time he was hit with a law suit. The town of Murray bought a couple of his electric vehicles thinking they could get BAT to relocate there, but Ole Joe chose CA instead. I'm surprised Joe, having roots in NY, hasn't claimed hitchhiking across the US as one of his accomplishments--3,000 miles without a gallon of gas. Joe's first mention of an electric car used a normal battery with his own special mix of electrolites. Talk about snake oil... At one point he claimed his batteries were guaranteed for 100,000 miles. Trouble is, no one ever drove his cars that far. The vehicles were always in need of a charge and one person said he was scared to get onto the freeway with it. Real prime time reading if you ask me. After reading those articles, I'm not sure I'd call BAT's attempts at tax exemption social engineering. One thing for certain, playing the environmental card has helped secure much needed funding for Ole Joe and BAT. I know I'm going to get a lot of mail on this one, but at least you are thinking the unthinkable. No need for thanks and all that. Now go on and Get Out of Here, you Big Dog you.
