FC, it's good to get a handle on the immigration situation in this country. The problem is that the Democrats failed to do just that until it was too late. Although I voted for Harris in 2024, this wasn't because Harris was an exceptional leader. Far from it. She was terrible at her role as "Border Czar." Even if the Democrats wanted to pursue an open borders policy, she should have demonstrated some leadership and help support the huge influx of migrants. Now the nation is in the hands of a bunch of conspiracy theorists, xenophobes, and (dare I say it) neo-Nazis. Neoliberalism is dead. Our politics have now degenerated into two parties duking it out for authoritarian power, and to the winner go the spoils. Tenchusatsu
