All: Cypress Semiconductor presented at 11:00 AM yesterday (Tuesday) at the BancAmerica Robertson Stephens Tech Conference at the Ritz Carleton in San Francisco. The only summary I have is that the senior VP of sales for CY promised that the company would be profitable by the end of the year. Does anyone know in greater detail what he said and what kind of numbers he predicted quarter by quarter for this year, or whatever? He acknowledged that investors were unhappy and they were going to fix the problems and become profitable. My question is when will the company start to show a profit, because between now and then, our investment is dead money, and I doubt if it will trade above 10 until it becomes profitable or at least Wall Street is certain that the quarter will be profitable.

Could this possibly decline back down to 7.5 to make a double bottom on the technical charts when the market corrects in March as we keep hearing warnings from the financial pundits? Currently, the stock is oversold according to the overbought/oversold oscillator, but that doesn't mean it can't go lower and be more oversold.

Any thoughts out there?
