look at the Stats Ten, Canadians, Mexican's and Asian tourists are all avoiding travel to the USA, high prices affect domestic tourism more than foreign tourism. when I went on holiday I didn't worry about prices. back in 2001 I took a trip to the Philippines to visit my wife's family, My brother in law lent me his POS car to get around but it was too dangerous to drive so I rented a car at 100 us a day for two weeks I also rented a hotel room for 5 weeks in Makati, I have no idea how much money I spent on that trip
