GOLD.... THAR SHE BLOWS!!!! Had been waiting to do a deep dive on gold because I didn't sense any sort of top was in the offing. But with the recent surge in price, my curiosity became piqued, and I invested a few hours analyzing charts from 2000 using all my latest and greatest "tools". The outcome of that work (see below) is that an active target of 6080 was uncovered, and the time frame for achievement appears to be late February. Within the next few weeks AFTER achievement, I wouldn't be surprised to see it blow off to $7000/ounce (clipping the top of the QUAD FORKS) before the final high comes in. So 2 months of fun and frolic....Merry Christmas, Happy New year, Happy Hannukah... GET'EM TIGER!!

Silver achieved 3.5 weeks ago a long-standing target from May of 2011 that projected to 55.79. The fact that it's still making new highs in this 4th week after achievement is EXTREMELY BULLISH long-term. I would expect the top of fork target in the chart below to be achieved just above 80, and then a pullback to ensue, probably back to around 68. If these numbers are roughly correct, then a new target of $121/oz. would be established, with plenty of potential for higher targets if subsequent pullbacks are reasonably shallow.
