Can you point to the reference in the Constitution that says judges can limit the legitimate power of the executive branch? You can't because it doesn't exist.

The constitution limits the executive power, not judges. Judges decides cases, and in doing so interpret the constitution. They can be overruled by higher courts if their decisions are not properly grounded. Their job is not to limit the executive.
