<not many posts on what was once one of the hottest threads , i find that very BULLISH......you've gotta be liking klac, veco, tncr.....>

Last time that happened was the absolute bottom... maybe now is some type of near term top however as last time the lack of interest seemed to be frustration and disgust...this seems like "complacency".

Teradyne certainly has responded to yesterday's plummet. It must have five news releases on the wires this morning. I suppose the market reacted so violently because it has been positioned as a company with minimal exposure to the more troubled segments of SEA, especially Korea and Japan, so an earnings shortfall equates to an overall industry slowdown, rather than simply a local SEA problem.

Both Teradyne and Orbotech announced introduction of multi-camera digitalized AOI systems today.
