If Zhang's concept works, those sound like minor technical details, given advances in artificial insemination and implantation ( npr.org ). We could see mass production of human robots (?) as soldiers, labor, or ego boosters. Will Chairman Xi be the sperm donor, or some Olympic athlete, genius, or Dr Zhang himself? Who will volunteer or be coerced into having their ova harvested? Who will want to live in that world as "natural" humanoids?
