Good job, I had been thinking 6 1/4 maybe. Tough to say what will happen to the stock in the next few days, probably a lot of sellers at 10, if it can muster that up. Who knows, maybe the market will go nuts and bid it way up, but I doubt it, the company has a reputation for being unreliable. Anyone who has followed Novell for any amount of time will be looking for signs of channel stuffing and other means of artificially inflating numbers. I also doubt the shorts will be quick to bail, in fact based on the general nature of shorts, I'd expect heavy short selling at 10 and above.

On the other hand, with brainshare and the annual meeting coming up, this is the time of year the company likes to make announcements. Wouldn't surprise me to hear of an aquisition soon.

STOCKGURU: Just remember my call a month or so ago on the $6.50 price
6.75 may even be too high. I'll get back in a 6.50 or less long and
wait for a 3-6 dollar premium on a takeout. FWIW.
Sorry Fred, I'm not convinced. Tolonen is still being "very creative"
with the numbers. Less revenues, higher EPS - Gimmie a break,
Puhllleessse.
Regards,
Joe...
