Another Competitor : goto.com There was an article in WSJ on this recently. It was founded by Bill gross (The founder of Knowledge Adventures) and it is much more commercial in its approach. They will put companies that pay more higher in the list of search results. Interesting model - remains to be seen if they can lure people there. About 80 big advertisers have expressed interest and they expect 10,000 small advertisers by the end of the year. More competition for advertising dollars and in search engines. Sigh !
