Yes, perfectly correct.

It has happened to me in the past when my Credit Card got charged with something I never ordered. After I saw the "transaction" come over my Cell phone, I immediately contacted the Bank and they Froze my Credit Card. They also reversed that charge from my Card .....

OT. Agree with you: I use my debt card at my bank (the card issuer) to withdraw cash. Only rarely use it elsewhere. It's just safer that way, I believe. Not so much if the card gets stolen; I'm more concerned if some salesperson takes my card or otherwise sees my card number and later uses it.

My dentist offers small discount on major work if I pay with check instead of credit card.

Also in this day and age, I don't much use checks.
