OT. "I don't even know where in the house my checks are hidden. It's been 5+ years since I've written one" Yup ......... me too !!! I do all my banking and payments via my Online Banking. I keep a certain amount of Cash in an Interest Bearing account. In my part of the world we get 7.15% interest P.A. I use the "Scheduled Transfer" option to transfer money from my Interest account to my Cheque Account on some future date. I then use the "Scheduled Payment" option to use the transferred money to pay an account, including my Total Credit Card amount owing, on that future date ... so all these transfers/payments get done while "I'm asleep" ... {;-)
