Wharfie,
The only way for us to do that is to increase sanctions and supply more weapons. Ukraine can do it by destroying the oil industry.
My rough-ass estimate is that Ukraine has hampered about 10-15% of RuZZia's oil and refining capacity, and that's generous.

The primary cause of RuZZia's much larger-than-expected deficit is due to relatively low oil prices. They're still hovering in the mid $60/barrel range, which isn't much higher than the oil price cap of $60.

Unfortunately for us, India looks like they will continue buying RuZZian oil. China obviously will, too.

And North Korea is starting to provide even more troops, more rocket artillery, and more shells to RuZZia to make up for their shortfalls in production.

Ukraine can last for quite a while longer, but their soldiers report being fukkin' tired. They last longer than RuZZian meat-fodder, of course, but the psychological burden of long-term service cannot be ignored. The world should step up and give them a break, one way or another.

I think that is the key. If in fact Putin double-crossed Trump on his promise to meet with Zelenskyy, he will pay the price.
