cable modems are the future..
"shotgun tech" may be run over by high isdn throughput rates, aetc.. cable has the bandwidth and the websites loaded up with vrml will be the rule rather than the exception, also, companies with voice recognition,call/video transfer capabilities with even soft balance sheets are the ones to "buy" on the dips and hold..
my research on building web sites and ecommerce has shown me that a clear path will swath thru to the $$$.. there is plenty of room for co's like pair to exploit the twisted wire tech... for the next few years, and with the dummy pc's.. however, the mmx tech and hi- speed processors will go hand in hand with the future.. if we can only believe that there will be significant benefit to "buying" that extra bandwidth....
it ain't that much more dollarwise and is exponentially greater than aol's garbage isp service
