I stuck it out with "Alien:Earth" for all 8 episodes, but the issues around creating artificial life of various sorts kinda got lost in the cheesy shoot 'em up, chase 'em around action. Not much original. I kept imagining Timothy Olyphant quietly saying to himself, "I'm a much better actor than this stuff." Try "Ex Machina" for a much more thoughtful look at the ethics of AI creations. Alien:Earth's main message was "Rich turds can do what they like unless the superior AI beings finally fight back!" Yawn. Not clear yet if there will be another season.
