re Intraday Patterns

Ken,

Could I have your comments on these intraday patterns that I think I have observed / confirmed.

High/Low Previous Day

Stocks that break either the high or low of the previous day will have a strong bias in that direction for the rest of the today and probably tomorrow as well.

High/Low First Hour Today

The 'neutral' high and low of the day is made in the first hour. Movement outside of this range will have a strong bias for the rest of today.

The second half of the first hour of the day will normally retrace one half of the move during the first half hour.

Sock it to the Brown Baggers

The close will tend to be in the opposite direction of the lunch hour. That is a strong rally in the lunch hour will predict a weak close and vice-versa.

Thanks.

:-))
