Thanks for your thought out response. Here's an interesting EPS line from Zack's:
1997 1.10 0.92 0.88 1.07 = 4.25 ????
Zack's looses a few respect points for me for 1: inability to accurately report 4Q earnings and 2: poor math skills.
Zack's get's a D- and recommendation to be held back a grade.

Do you happen to know the numbers for the networking segment? Margin, growth, contrib. to earnings?

Seems to me Intel should be good for 5-10 years unless we have a paradigm shift in PC demand. Any thoughts on the demand aspect. I wonder what upgrade numbers look like for home penetration. This is where I imagine the cost to upgrade may become unsustainable.
