Super Cruise is Level 2 ADAS. The jackpot for ADAS is Level 3 and above and, imho, that will require LiDAR..

Waymo operates at Level 4 in restricted areas and expanding restricted areas is how ADAS will likely advance if it does. Waymo claims to provide 250,000 fully autonomous rides each week(if it was me I'd prefer to say a million a month). Waymo uses LiDAR, radar, and cameras.

I agree. I'm sure I've driven a million(s) of mile. I enjoy driving and don't see ADAS proliferating for some years. Got my license in 1962 so there is indeed a lot of psychology for me but many millions of people would need very little persuasion to give up the wheel.

Amazon(Proteus), Blue City, Komatsu, and the relationship with Nvidia are compelling reasons for my position in Ouster but if an ADAS contract is announced then...look out.
