Seems to me if these large language models just take in lots of written material, and that is used to produce their output, there will soon be quite a large business in creating written material which is not necessarily factually accurate, but does a good job of having the model spit out something bad for one company (the other guys) and good for another company (the ones that paid to make the not necessarily accurate written material).

For example, a question to the ChatGPT interface what's better, Apple's new phone or Samsung's new phone, and the LLM is going to tell the reader that Apple is better because Samsung's new phone ain't no good, and the written material that produced that response was all paid for by Apple.
