Pocotrader,
As for this woke shit I have no clue what it really means.
In plain and simple terms, "woke" is a label for any wackadoodle left-wing idea.

Here's just one of many examples:

Bud Light made the unfortunate decision to do a cross-promotion campaign with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. This was the brainchild of Anheuser-Busch's VP of marketing at the time, Alissa Heinerscheid. She thought that the younger generation would react positively to such a marketing campaign, but the backlash against it was intense.

Trump, of course, rode on the wave of the "anti-woke" backlash and is now instituting his revenge against these left-wing extremists.

Many leftists, I have noticed, are now pretending that the "woke" movement pre-Trump 2.0 was "no big deal," which to me is a clear case of denial. It was indeed a big deal, but on the other hand, it wasn't so big of a deal that we needed to dismantle our very democracy to counter it.

All it tells me that the losers of the so-called "culture wars" were tempted to amass authoritarian powers in order to never lose that war again. And although they succeeded in telling the whole world how unpopular "woke" really was, they also succeeded in telling the whole world to ...
