Howard Marks, Howard Marks portfolio, Madharry wardrobe.

Madharry, I'm also not happy with your wardrobe, and I don't even know you. -g-
Well, it's maybe ok if you don't go out in public.. -g-

I haven't looked at Marks' Youtube videos. I know he writes missives often, and they are received postively by the investment community. I've glanced over a few and found them not relevant for me.

Of course I review his public portfolio every quarter. Usually nothing I understand or am interested in. With his holdings, I am surprised every quarter that he manages $3.9 Billion. How did that happen?---> Well, it's on me, I guess, to do more research into his history to see how.

2. I cant pick winners but I can try to avoid losers. 3. have an investment plan and try not to do anything really stupid.

Is this correct, he says he can't pick winners? Why can't he? Everybody on this SubjectMark sure can. And like everybody else we all try to avoid losing money if that's what he means. If he is saying though, he tries to avoid buying losing stocks (stocks that are down), that's maybe different.

17% (!!) of his public portfolio is in oil-product tanker shipping company TRMD plc. I keep a few tracking shares to monitor. finance.yahoo.com
