Terry... 18 5/8 was important as the first attempted trend-change top. You have to go back a ways on the chart to see it (mid-December), but it forms the start of a long accumulation pattern. I'd say ECI is looking good now except today's gap action is on pretty modest volume, AND the current move is what they call a "mast" formation. If so, then this minor move is about over. That would lead to two possible outcomes: 1) make a dip available for longs in a while, say low 17s, or 2) pause at low 17s then continue down to test bottom one more time. I don't have a good feel for the odds of these outcomes yet.
