Opinions please about the possibility of an Intel buyout of ASND. I've heard all the stories of Nortel, Lucent, Compaq, etc, and of all these, given recent purchases, and alliances already in place, none really make sense. But Intel, with a stated desire to compete across all lines in networking, and recently announced new products that pretty much cover the LAN segment seems the most likely suitor of all. They lack anything WAN, and also the direct sales force to even sell their own high end LAN products. No product overlap, cash and stock to burn, high interest in getting the world connected at higher rates in order to sell those PII's and beyond, and a growing, profitable business that can stand on its own, that won't drag of thier earnings. Comments please.

"If I hold long enough (witness ASND), it usually goes up after time
so long as the fundamentals are there." Yes, but the angst along the way!
