Occasionally, I need to hire someone to work under me (replacement or new hire). I have a very good retention rate so - "occasional".

Although I lavish them with help when needed and will work along side them when necessary (so they learn), otherwise I expect them to be able to work and handle things independently.

All of those examples where parents get involved in their kid's work and interview would be quite negative would not get them hired with me and would work against them.

Except for the second case in the event in a personal interaction where a parent was recommending their kid for interview - networking in effect. If the parent is calling for the kid - no way.

I've had a couple of Gen Z's and there were no issues with them (and never heard a peep from their parents).
