Mary Cluney -- My final word on TA.

The point I was making about the cards is that counters CAN put the odds in THEIR favor at a casino and that Paul's statement <<he [the casino owner] has the odds in his favor>> is not necessarily correct. Kind of like his comments about TA. Period. Sorry I brought it up.

<<Relationships (subtle or overt) can break up when you least can afford it.>>

Agreed! That's one of the reasons why trading is so difficult and money management is absolutely critical.

<<Where did I put that 900 number for the psychic market counselor? Hello?>>

I consider this extremely disrespectful, sarcastic and insulting. Nevertheless, I'll refrain from replying in kind and recommend that you research George Soros, Bruce Kovner, Richard Dennis, William Eckhardt, and Paul Tudor Jones to name a few. I consider their methods to be TA but this discussion degenerated too quickly like so many seem to on this thread for us to get that far. Which brings up my next point. You should always treat people who you don't know with respect because you never know who you're dealing with. For all you know, I could be one of the gentlemen I just mentioned. Or maybe I just worked for one of them and made $4 million/year practicing "voodoo." Think about it.

I didn't start this debate (on TA); that's not what this thread is about. But since someone else did and everyone seems to be so convinced that it's ALL "voodoo" when I KNOW FOR A FACT that it's not, I threw out some bait against my better judgement to have some fun and hopefully start an intelligent discussion. Big mistake. I should have known better after reading the childish exchanges that have been adulterating the thread lately.

Given how much this collective knows about Intel, I'm astounded by some of the comments that you, Paul and others have made. Ph.D.s from statisticians to astrophysicists are a dime a dozen in proprietary trading departments practicing "voodoo." While much of it's esoteric, you'd be surprised at how simple some of it is.

Did I mention that I think this thread is the best single source of information about Intel on the internet (when the flaming is kept to a dull roar)? You'd be surprised at who eavesdrops. But the Psychic Hotline tells me the bickering is degrading the thread's credibility. And I know that I definitely don't have time for B.S. and insults, so you'll have to resolve the TA debate on your own. Goodbye and good luck! I'll be listening!
