All:

I have a question about stock buybacks. I really don't understand this. If a company is profitable and uses its profits to buy back shares, and I'm a stockholder, are those shares coming out of the profits in some way? If a company is not profitable, who is paying for the stock buybacks?

Thanks, if anyone understands this.

Linda
