'Republicans screwed this up!' Right-wing host unloads on Trump and GOP over Epstein moves

Real America's Voice/screen grab

Pro-MAGA host David Brody of Real America's Voice and Christian Broadcasting Network slammed President Donald Trump for calling the Jeffrey Epstein scandal a " Democrat hoax."

On Thursday, Brody told Real America's Voice co-host Jake Novak that he was frustrated because Trump seemed to dismiss Epstein survivors who spoke out this week.

"President Trump, at the time, he was not president, and had been talking about Epstein, when asked about it and say, yeah, we need to see everything," Brody recalled. "You know, let's get the files released, let's do everything. And, you know, this had been a thing for him for a while. I mean, he had been talking about it when he was not president."

"Then he became president, and then I traced this all back to Pam Bondi," he continued. "This is on Republicans."

Brody disagreed with claims that the scandal was a "hoax."

"If President Trump had, let's just say, reversed himself and said, you know what, I want everything. Let's go. Let's make this happen. You know, now, then guess what? Mike Johnson and all the other Republicans would be behind him," he insisted. "Trump has said, let's move on. And the base doesn't want to move on. MAGA doesn't want to move on."

"If he would be the one behind it saying, I want answers, guess what? Mike Johnson and all the other Republicans would jump and say, how high, Mr. President," the host noted. "But he's not doing that. And so this is on them. This is on the Republicans."

According to Brody, the administration had reversed itself on releasing Epstein files because "this is not good for Trump."

"He's right. It is a distraction politically. But tell those women that it's a distraction," he asserted. "This is a big Republican — They screwed this up. It's just that simple. They screwed it up because they wanted answers, they wanted answers, they wanted answers, and now we don't want any answers. Come on, come on, I'm sorry. I don't buy it."

"I mean, there's just, there's people obviously covering up here to make sure that these names never get released."
