Bill, for starters, I'd intercept all of the RuZZian "shadow tankers" trying to get around the $60/barrel price cap. (I wouldn't blow them up, of course, unlike what Narco Marco did to the Venezuelan "pirates.") India can still buy RuZZian oil on the cheap, though. That's just the consequence of the oil price cap. We chose that over an oil embargo for obvious reasons. Then I'd start to form some real good defense relations with India while at the same time throw that basketcase Pakistan under the bus. Kind of fukkin' nuts that we are STILL supporting Pakistan even after they harbored the most wanted terrorist of the 21st century. If war breaks out between India and Pakistan, after getting over my isolationism, I'd consider sending a few F-35s to strike Pakistani terrorists and give India's defense minister a nice demonstration. Meanwhile I'd talk some sense into Modi so that he can open up foreign investment into India's economy. Kind of stupid for Modi to continue restricting said investment under "anti-colonial" sentiment. (BTW, I'm not talking about building factories in India, but rather funding entrepreneurial ventures there.) Any remaining trade spats between U.S. and India should be negotiated away through the hard work of international trade experts, not the whims of one narcissist. In short, the way to break up the India-RuZZia relationship is by being a better, more trustworthy partner, not by threats. (Oh, and I'd also tell Modi to get along with China, but that's a whole other ball game ...) Tenchusatsu
