regarding LULU - I am clueless , dont really understand why after hitting a high of around $425 in january the stock just steadily dropped, now there is bad news and the stock just plummets. The company management was seemingly buying overpriced throughout this downturn . Now they say ooops things are worse than we thought. I feel ilke I walked into a kitchen and saw three cockroaches. I suspect there may be more.

I dont put any weight on some position that Burry had 45 days ago. His holdings can change very quickly. and I have no what kind of structured positions he is putting on . I do remember that for years the pundits on cnbc were talking about lulu lemon at least once a week. I suspect that the fast money is out of there now but are the values players getting interested? I am happy with the $13 adidas shorts I got at costco so no yoga pants in my future. It would seem like you would have to know a lot about the products, customers and quality of the competition to make an informed decision about buying shares at this level . I seem to remember back in the day everyone had to have Levis blue jeans, no other brand would suffice. is that the same with lulu lemon? do people care any more?

Like most apparel stocks I am going to avoid this one , I do have more than a tracking position in FFXDF, I resent the 20% cut I have to pay on what may be phony appreciation in the portfolio so I am holding what I got. I much prefer the model Ackman is offering with HHHH, which seems fairer to me. His fee is directly tied to the share price appreciation of HHH and is way less than 20%.

I walked into my local Sprouts for the first time in quite a while. many changes. Only one cashier and lots of self serve terminals. A fish I wanted to get they no longer carry, and the packages of frozen seafood had no price labels attached, After I asked a clerk to check on the price for me I understood why- $20 for a 12ounce package of frozen fish.
