Your assumption is that Putin cares more about the Russian economy than keeping the war going and conquering Ukraine.
No, that's not my assumption. My assumption is simply that Russia will run out of cash or print so much money that hyper inflation will set in. Either way, Russia will follow the path of the Soviet Union.

Cash to pay soldiers, pay for military production, health care, social benefits and and and will run out. Who will prop up Russian bank accounts?

It won't be foreign investors. They will wait for really cheap assets.
