Jeff,

Interesting theory about crunchy peanut butter. Some of our most venerable junkfood started life as accidents, frankfurters, ice cream cones, potato chips, and a host of others.

I believe Crest was the first fluoride toothpaste but do not remember the spokesbeast for that product, but do recall vaguely a smiling, toothsome child in a dentist's chair, gurgling something like, "Look, Ma, no new cavities!" and a mini-travelogue of Texas, stating that Texas has naturally fluoridated water, etc., etc. I do remember Ipana's beaver vividly. Do I get anything for that?

BTW, here is yet another example of how the Omniscient of Sacramento watch over us, the dumb and ignorant peasants, in our fair State.
